Welcome to Deal Tree Health Centre (formerly Doddinghurst Surgery)

VIEW_1[1]The practice was founded in 1960 and has since expanded so that it now consists of four partners and twenty staff.We moved into our new purpose built building in 2012 and from this we aim to provide family medicine of the highest standards for the benefit of our patients.

As well as a source of information about our practice, the staff & the services we provide, we hope you use the website as a useful resource with links to other reliable websites for health related information. If there is topical health information we will also add this to the website.

IMPORTANT PATIENT NEWS

 

Extended Hours on Saturday Mornings

 

Due to staff shortages, we are unable to renew our contract to provide an extended hours session on a Saturday morning.

 

From 1st April 2016 the Surgery will no longer be open on Saturday mornings

 

When the Surgery is closed patients can continue to access the 111 service who, following triage, will either give telephone advice, arrange for you to be seen at a local primary care centre, or if clinically necessary arrange a home visit.

 Protected learning time dates are:

Tuesday 5th April 2016

Tuesday 21st June 2016

The surgery will be closed from 1.00pm on these dates and will re-open as usual at 8.30am the following morning.  If you need to speak to a doctor during this time please phone the surgery and you will be re-directed to the Out-of-Hours service.
